A well-maintained Alfa Romeo drives better, lasts longer and holds its value. Since 2017, our workshop in Nazelles-Négron, near Amboise and Tours, has handled routine maintenance and servicing of Alfa Romeos and Italian cars, both classic and recent.
Our servicing work
- Oil change, filters and fluid levels, with oils suited to older engines.
- Timing: belt or chain, tensioners, water pump.
- Brakes: pads, discs, hoses, calipers, fluid bleed.
- Ignition and carburation: spark plugs, timing advance, carburettor synchronisation.
- Cooling: hoses, radiator, thermostat, coolant.
- Suspension: bushes, ball joints, dampers, wheel alignment.
- Tyres in original sizes.
- Preparation for the French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique).
A classic car is not serviced like a modern one
An Alfa Romeo from the 1960s or 70s needs specific settings, oils and parts. We know the weak points of each model: Weber and Dell'Orto carburettors, chain-driven timing, rear axles, period electrical systems. We adapt every job to the model, its history and how you use it.
Recommissioning after long storage
Has your car been laid up for months or years? Before it goes back on the road, we check the fuel system, brakes, tyres, battery and fluids, then recommission it safely.
Roadworthiness test preparation
We know the test points that often cause problems on classic cars. We check and correct your car before the test to avoid a re-test.
Parts available immediately
Filters, seals, brakes, ignition and carburation parts: our stock of Alfa Romeo parts is on site, so most jobs can be done without waiting for an order.
